1. Scope
This policy applies to copyright complaints, trademark-related complaints, publicity and likeness complaints, and other intellectual property allegations relating to content uploaded to, stored through, processed by, or made available through Gateway-operated services. This policy supplements the Terms of Use and does not create any obligation for Gateway to pre-screen all user content or outputs.
2. User Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that they have all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, releases, and consents for any material they submit, transform, reference, store, publish, or distribute through the Service. Gateway does not warrant that any output is original, protectable, non-infringing, or commercially usable, and Gateway does not provide legal clearance, chain-of-title review, or publication approval.
3. Submitting a Copyright Complaint
If you believe that material made available through the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to Gateway's designated copyright contact. A valid notice should include enough information for Gateway to identify the complaining party, the allegedly infringed work, the allegedly infringing material, and the basis for the complaint. Gateway may request additional information, refuse incomplete notices, or require declarations consistent with applicable law before acting.
Without limiting applicable law, a complaint should generally include: identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; identification of the allegedly infringing material with enough information to locate it; contact information for the complaining party; a statement of good-faith belief; and a statement that the information submitted is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act.
4. Counter-Notice Process
If Gateway removes or disables material in response to a complaint, Gateway may notify the affected account holder where appropriate. Where applicable law permits, the affected party may submit a counter-notice disputing the claim. Gateway may restore the material if Gateway determines that restoration is appropriate under applicable law, Gateway policy, provider restrictions, and the risk posture of the account.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
Gateway may suspend or terminate accounts that are the subject of repeated infringement complaints, repeat abusive submissions, repeated likeness or deepfake violations, or patterns of conduct suggesting intentional misuse of the Service. Gateway may also preserve audit records and complaint history for legal defense, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and repeat-infringer analysis.
6. Other Intellectual Property and Personality Rights
Gateway may review and act on complaints involving trademarks, trade dress, publicity rights, privacy rights, voice rights, face or likeness misuse, deceptive impersonation, or other legally protected interests. Gateway may route complaints into support review, require additional evidence, restrict content, suspend account functions, or refuse restoration where the matter creates legal or reputational risk.
7. Illegal Content and DSA-Style Notice Handling
Where the Service hosts or exposes user material, Gateway may receive notices concerning allegedly illegal content under applicable law. Gateway may review such notices under its legal, policy, and platform obligations, and may remove, restrict, disable, or preserve content pending review. Gateway may provide an explanation of action or inaction where required by applicable law, but Gateway is not obliged to disclose internal moderation heuristics, fraud signals, or provider routing logic.
8. Copyright Contact
Gateway may update its designated complaint contact from time to time. The published website contact and the information maintained with the relevant authority should be treated as the current complaint destination for formal notices.
